Despite its name, Let It Ride Poker is a casino game played on table similar to a blackjack table. As a variation of the ever-popular 5-card stud poker, Let It Ride is played with a standard 52-card deck. But unlike in regular poker games, in Let It Ride Poker you do not play against the other players or even against the dealer. Your objective is simply to make the best 5-card poker hand and get paid for it.

Let It Ride Poker Rules
To start each hand of Let It Ride Poker you must place three equal-sized bets on the bet places marked '$', '2', and '1'. Now click the 'Deal' button. You will be dealt 3 cards face up and the table will be dealt 2 community (shared) cards face down. At this point you must determine from your 3 cards what kind of a 5-card poker hand you can expect to make. And here's where Let It Ride Poker gets really interesting. If you think your cards are weak, you can remove one of your bets (the 1 bet) by clicking the 'Pull Out' button or the equivalent. However, if you are happy with your cards, you can click the 'Let It Ride' button.
Now one of the community cards will be revealed. If this card has not helped your hand, you can Pull Out one of your bets ( the 2 bet), and if it has, you can Let It Ride. Now the second and last community card is revealed. If you make a winning hand (as per the game's paytable), you'll be paid out according to how many bets you have left on the table - $, 2 or 1. If you don't, you lose all or your remaining bets.
There is one more bet you can make before each hand known as the 'Side Bet'. By betting on the side bet, you are in effect placing four bets in total. The beauty of the side bet is that if you make a winning hand, you'll be paid out on greater odds than the regular bets and win more money.

In terms of Let It Ride Poker strategy, here are two key tips you can use to help maximize your winnings and reduce your losses. The most important one is to ignore the side bet. Its enormous odds are used to draw you in, but you are in effect just increasing your bet by 25 percent each hand, which means with each loss you are losing 25 percent.
Another good tip is to remember that less than 1 in 4 hands will be a winner so monitor your betting patterns closely. However, this seemingly low win rate is off-set by the generous odds paid across multiple bets for high-value hands. So if you play smart and control your betting, this is the game for you.
